Our website is home to thousands of free, quality resources to support your teaching. They provide a useful starting point in planning and delivering lessons or in supplementing your own planning and ideas.

STEM Community is a friendly, supportive network of more than 15,000 teachers and technicians. Featuring exclusive events, subject-specific groups, lively debates and topical news, you can't afford to miss out. There is a dedicated group for primary STEM, providing you with ongoing engagement, support and collaboration with your peers and our experienced STEM Learning experts. It's a great place to ask questions and boost your STEM subject knowledge.
It’s free to join. It uses the same login details as your STEM Learning website account if you already have one. If not, it’s quick and easy to register - and you can join in 'on the go' to using our Apps which you can download from the App Store and Google Play.

STEM Ambassadors

STEM Ambassadors are volunteers from STEM related jobs and disciplines across the UK. We work with over 30,000 STEM Ambassadors from more than 2,500 different employers. They offer their time and enthusiasm to help bring STEM subjects to life, bringing a new and inspiring perspective to STEM lessons.

STEM Ambassadors are an important and exciting free of charge resource for teachers, both inside and away from the classroom. By bringing a STEM Ambassador into your primary school, you can play an essential role in engaging young people in STEM subjects and careers at a young age.

STEM Clubs

STEM Clubs are out-of-timetable sessions that enrich and broaden the curriculum, giving young people the chance to explore STEM subjects in less formal settings. Clubs are an important outlet to ignite new interest and to raise attainment through more imaginative and inventive teaching methods.

Setting up a STEM Club can be a rewarding experience, nurturing your pupils' enthusiasm for STEM subjects at an early stage. There are some great ideas for primary schools - perhaps an engaging science club, or a gardening or coding club. We can help you get started and make your club thrive with downloadable guides and inspirational case studies to specific resources, related CPD and enlisting the help of a STEM Ambassador volunteer to help you.

Magazine

The 2021 edition of the STEM Learning magazine is full of the latest insights and research in teaching STEM subjects to primary pupils.

In what’s been a challenging 12 months for all involved in education, the magazine celebrates how teachers have adapted and improvised, and the lasting impact that this innovation will have in the classroom. Enjoy exploring the articles, resources and support in this edition.
